Go-Shu Premium Sake Junmai SMV +1 (Semi-Dry)
Go-Shu is a traditional style of sake suitable for heating and drinking
at 35-40°C. It is dry and crisp with light fruity notes
and a balanced smooth taste. It has 15% alcohol content, is
non-allergenic and enhances food flavour by cleansing the palate
and sensitising taste. Go-Shu may also be consumed cold. It belongs
to the Junmai type of sake, produced from Australian
Japonica rice polished to 70% of its original size.
Go-Shu Nama Premium Draught Sake Junmai SMV -1 (Semi-Sweet)
Go-Shu Nama is a cool style sake made for drinking at 4-10°C. Its
production uses less heat at the final refining stage and is kept
in cool storage so it retains more fruity notes than standard Go-Shu.
Go-Shu Nama also has a slightly higher residual sweetness to add balance
to the fruitiness. An alcohol content of 15% imparts the palate
cleansing properties to the sake ensuring that any accompanying
meal is fully appreciated. Go-Shu Nama is also Junmai type
of sake.
Go-Shu Blue Super Premium Sake Junmai Ginjo SMV +4 (Medium Dry)
Go-Shu Blue is a super premium product. It is a very high
quality sake delightfully packaged in a blue bottle. It belongs
to the "Ginjo" type of sake, which means, that its rice
is milled more finely (60% of original size) and no alcohol or chemicals
are added. Go-Shu Blue has a fruity fragrance and smooth and well
balanced, mature taste, suiting everyone. Go-Shu Blue has 15% alcohol
content.
Go-Rin Superior Australian Sake Junmai Ginjo SMV -1 (Semi-Sweet)
Go-Rin is a unique and specially developed new style of sake. the
first in the world! It is produced using a special sparkling wine
yeast and the finest ingredients available, including Australia's
renowned Japonica rice. Go-Rin is slightly sweeter than Go-Shu,
and an alcohol content of 14.5% results in a new taste in a truly

grade of milled Japonica rice (milled to 40% of original size

Go-Shu SuperDry18L Pemium Sake Junmai SMV +9 (Extra Dry)
Go-Shu SuperDry 18L is made from rice milled to 70% of
its original size and is an extra dry sake being the most commonly
used by Japanese restaurants in serving traditional
Atsukan (warmed style) sake. Being in the Hiya
category of sake, Go-Shu SuperDry 18L shows a very cleansing palate
and is equally delicious when consumed chilled or at room temperature.
Alcohol content is slightly lower at 14.5%.Go-Shu SuperDry 18L is suitable
for commercial use such as restaurants or caterers.

SMV (Sake Metre Value)
In Japan, Nihonshudo, or Sake Metre Value (SMV), is often used to determine
whether sake is either dry or sweet by measuring the amount of residual sugar
and alcohol in it. A positive value means less residual sugar and therefore drier sake.
Likewise, a negative value indicates sweeter sake.
